EOP Financial Eligibility Guidelines
*Add $4,200 for each additional family member. Category “A” limits apply if you are supported by one or more individuals whose annual income is received from sources other than employment. Those limits also apply if you live with both parents and only one parent works. Category “B” limits apply if you are a single independent person with earned income OR you are a dependent child supported by the earned income of a single parent or both parents who are both wage earners. Category “C” limits apply if you live with both parents and are supported by one worker with two or more jobs. NOTE: These income guidelines do not apply if: 1. You or your family receives payment from Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Home Relief, Safety Net, or Family Day Care through a New York State or County Department of Social Services, Office of Social Services, Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, or Office of Children and Family Assistance. 2. Your are living with foster parents who do not give you money for college, and no money is provided by your natural parents; or 3. You are a ward of the state or county. The eligibility guidelines are for income received during calendar year 2003 and are in effect for first-time freshmen applicants entering UB for fall 2004 and spring 2005.
